Do you have a friend who needn’t to say ‘thanks’?- Self-determined friendship may be the development object

It is not easy to handed several friends who never need to say thanks. Maybe it is very easy to say”thanks” to your friends, but it is a rare state that you really needn’t to say thanks to each other.A true frirnd never say “thanks ”,but their affection and friendship won’t be inferior for lack of “thanks”, to the contrary, it will be more precious.

Whithout “thanks”,the friendship contains thick dear ones;without thanks”,the friendship appears to be more simple and natural.

Friends like this is hard to handed. But which friends have the potential to develop into this kind of friends?

Ryo Okada sheds light on this problem from the psychology perspective. He studies 262 Japanese university students, and concluded that “self-determined friendship motivation predicted lower levels of anger, hostility, and physical aggression and that hostility and anger predicted lower levels of self-esteem. Verbal aggression was found to be positively associated with self-determined friendship motivation and self-esteem.”
